Declaration of Generative AI in Scientific Writing .
Authors are required to disclose the use of generative AI in scientific writing when submitting their manuscripts. This guideline strictly pertains to the writing process and does not address the use of AI tools for data analysis or deriving research insights.

Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies should solely be employed to enhance the readability and language quality of the manuscript. Such technologies must be used under human oversight and control, with authors meticulously reviewing and editing the output. This is crucial as AI-generated content, although authoritative-sounding, may contain inaccuracies, incomplete information, or biases. Authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of their manuscripts.

AI tools or AI-assisted technologies must not be credited as authors or co-authors of the manuscript, as authorship implies specific responsibilities that only humans can fulfill.

The use of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in scientific writing must be transparently declared. Authors should include a statement at the end of the manuscript at the time of initial submission. This statement will appear in the final published work, placed in a designated section before the references list. An example of the required statement is as follows:

Title of the new section: Declaration of Generative AI and AI-Assisted Technologies in the Writing Process

Statement: During the preparation of this manuscript, the author(s) utilized [NAME OF TOOL / SERVICE] to [PURPOSE OF USE]. Following the application of this tool/service, the author(s) thoroughly reviewed and edited the content as necessary and take full responsibility for the final published version.

This declaration requirement does not apply to the use of basic tools designed for grammar, spelling, or reference checking. If no generative AI tools were used in the manuscript preparation, no statement is needed.
